Supply Chain Engineer

DescriptionEnsure efficient material support for Cargolux fleet for both scheduled and unscheduled events.Supervise planning of spare parts requirements during Heavy Maintenance activity.Monitor and optimize stock levels to ensure optimum balance between availability and finance.Coordinate processes through various department to ensure smooth flow of material and information.Control and supervise the parts cycle count and the year end inventory.Participate in the parts provisioning.Guide and supervise the team for Material Planning and the Inventory Control aspects.Ensure a regular follow-up on departmental tasks.Prepare the departmental work schedule.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITIONEngineering profile or Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or in any other related.Aviation experience is considered as an advantage.At least 5 years of working experience in a similar position.Good analytical skill and pro-active.Team spirit and good communication skill.Know how to handle complex situation and set up inter-departmental processes.Experience in managing a small team is a plus.Fluency in English, written & spoken, any other language will be considered as an advantage.Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
