Job Requirements:
Your role as Supply Chain Expert is an essential role within the Supply Chain department. You will report directly to the Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Manager. You will work closely with all departments.
Essential Job Functions/ Skills:
• To ensure Health and Safety culture is No 1 priority
• To carry out all duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and fellow Team Members
• To collaborate and support the supply chain team.
• Audit readiness at all time.
• Strategic& Operational Sourcing.
• Operational daily reporting management.
• Involvement in Improvement projects and developments
• Obsolescence reduction and reporting
• Inventory management
• Production planning support.
• Negotiation skills
• MRP management
• Involvement in Logistics management for UK & Global supply
• Incoterm Knowledge
• Purchase Order management & Invoice queries
• Supplier Management
• Data entry and general administration
• Identify any stock concerns and advise of potential shortages.
• Identify any material MOQ concerns and liaise with supplier/escalate where necessary.
• Support, guide, coach Team Members.
• Promote continuous improvement within your area and site wide
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with Team Members over all functions internally and externally where applicable
• Deputise for team members and manager when necessary.
• Cross functional training/Training Matrix
• Co-operate in one’s own personal training and development programme in accordance with the Company’s Training Policy and Procedure

Required Experience:
2 years minimum in a purchasing role.

Holidays
27 days – the site is open on bank holidays except for Christmas day
