Summary: Based in our Golden, Colorado HQ, the Supply Chain Manager will oversee the flow of the company’s products and services from suppliers to customers. The position is responsible for developing and implementing purchase strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and tracking supplier performance. In addition to overseeing the inventory flow, the position will be responsible for the management of the organization’s rental assets and active cellular plan inventories. You'll establish priorities to maintain production schedules to ensure company milestones and delivery requirements are met, as well as coordinate with executive management, and other department managers to ensure the company’s material, planning and production objectives are accomplished. Responsibilities: Own and perform all purchasing and inventory management tasks for the company to include assisting in the selection of suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing inventory levels Monitor the manufacturing process and sales flow to ensure the manufacturing team has enough supplies and inventory to always meet order demand and to prevent stock outs. This includes determining and setting appropriate reorder points considering lead times, economic order quantities and company inventory and cash flow goals. Maintain inventory forecast and review weekly usage with Accounting and Manufacturing to make data driven purchasing decisions Responsible for identifying, managing, and minimizing risks that could affect the supply chain. Build and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for all Assemblies and Finished Goods in the company accounting system (QuickBooks) Prepare and review purchase orders, invoices, and other supporting documents. Accurately receive against purchase orders and approve supplier invoices for payment Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings, quality and delivery of supplies and equipment. Investigate cost reduction opportunities through volume, second source and value engineering (in partnership with engineering) Negotiate and manage contractual obligations with suppliers, contract manufacturers, shippers, etc. to ensure the best pricing and terms. Maintain an accurate database of suppliers and products Manage rental inventory – outbound and returns Optimize transportation needs – negotiating and managing relationships with logistics providers and overseeing the warehousing and distribution processes. Manage cellular supplier relationships to secure the best pricing. Oversee active plan inventory for accuracy. Actively seek to engage with team members and other departments to solve problems and improve processes to maximize efficiency and accuracy. Responsible for planning and overseeing the regularly scheduled inventory counts to ensure they are conducted in an efficient and accurate manner. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business, Supply Chain Mgt, Accounting, Operations, etc.) 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, () Purchasing or similar role Strong Communication Skills Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in all MS Office applications Strong negotiation skills Ability to execute purchasing, receiving and inventory control functions in an accounting package such as QuickBooks.
