Could you be the full-time Supply Chain Method & Tools Engineer (Power BI) in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and data analysis expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Sorin Iovu (Cluster Operations Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside dedicated, proactive and value-oriented teammates. You’ll be the referent Global Expert of the One Alstom Materials Planning Processes, representing Materials Planning expectations and interests in all global cross-functional groups. Day-to-day, you’ll support documents needed by the sites to perform the Materials Planning activities. You’ll also be responsible for creating a strong culture of Materials Planning across all sites along with the Regional Supply Chain Directors. We’ll look to you for: Mission: Define and update the core model for Materials Planning Process applicable across all Product Lines and Sites. Align the Core Materials Planning Tools to the Materials Planning Process and drive engagement with the Process and Tools team. Represent Materials Management team in all global cross-functional groups and provides the Materials Management view on the process Help build a talent pipeline of Materials Planners across all Alstom sites (with the support of Site Supply Chain Heads) Be the Global SPOC for handling difficult suppliers and work with Global Commodity Managers to unblock situations Understanding of business use cases Formalization of the need through specifications Data analysis and transformation Proposal of analysis and valuation models Implementation of new methodological and technological solutions for data processing In addition, under the responsibility of the Business Intelligence & Data owner of the department, you will also be called upon for more cross-functional missions during which: You collect or identify the needs of operational customers (production, purchasing, transport, planning and supplies). You illustrate these issues using data and propose indicators highlighting the improvements to be made. You implement improvement projects with the operational teams in the field in complete autonomy Tasks: Create/Update Materials Planning Handbook, Guidelines & SOPs to reflect the core model and changes therein Prepare Training Modules for New Materials Planners & develop Trainers in regions Support Sites in implementing the core Materials Planning Processes Work with the MM Tools & processes team to create solutions for Materials Planning Business Challenges Review with the Sites/Cluster/Regions all Leading and Lagging Indicators of Materials Planning Processes and analyses trends for correction Report and provide improvement plan for all L1 & L2 KPIs to the leadership team every month All about you We value passion and attitude over experience.
