Supply Chain Recovery Lead
Job Summary: The Supply Chain Recovery Lead will spearhead efforts to eliminate system and supply constraints that impede the timely and sustainable recovery of supplier back orders and past-due inventory, directly impacting part availability, customer satisfaction, brand integrity, and sales performance. This position requires a proactive, results-driven leader to collaborate across departments, ensuring alignment and accountability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to eliminate system and supply constraints, driving the timely and sustainable recovery of supplier back orders and overdue inventory, thereby improving part availability and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain a consistent governance cadence with internal stakeholders to ensure swift, effective, and lasting resolution of supply chain issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear communication and ensuring accountability at every stage of the recovery process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define key deliverables, establish recovery milestones, and monitor progress to ensure the successful resolution of back orders and past-due inventory.
- Proactively identify emerging risks or trends that could hinder the recovery process, and develop risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to prevent delays and bottlenecks.
- Leverage lessons learned to implement corrective actions and new processes aimed at preventing the recurrence of supply chain challenges in the future.
- Create and maintain an initiative tracking system to monitor recovery efforts, with regular status reporting for cross-functional visibility and accountability.
- Provide escalations to leadership where necessary, offering timely updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes to ensure informed decision-making.
- Based on insights from recovery efforts, document and recommend long-term corrective actions and process improvements to strengthen the supply chain and mitigate future risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in OEM Aftermarket or Supply Chain management, with a strong understanding of the complexities involved in supplier recovery and inventory management.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional initiatives to completion.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of supply chain issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and drive accountability.
- High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with tracking systems and reporting tools to ensure cross-functional visibility and transparency.
