The Supply Chain Supervisor will source and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for the Aviation Industry. They will compile and analyze statistical data to help determine prospects of buying products and to help establish price objectives. This position will also supervise stores clerks. The Supply Chain Supervisor will require that all new implemented processes are in line with the
company’s overarching strategy, mission and vision of becoming a pioneer in the aviation eco-system by leveraging latest technology trends/innovation strategies available, as well as demonstrated best practices to achieve operational excellence.

Supply Chain Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Supervise store clerks to ensure efficient daily operations and effective material management.
  • Provide timely and adequate material support to all departments within the company, ensuring seamless workflow and production continuity.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for property and inventory management, maintaining a well-organized and accurate system for materials, tools, and parts.
    • Ensure strict adherence to both company policies and regulatory requirements, including:
    • Tool calibration procedures
    • Receiving inspections
    • Material handling protocols
    • Hazmat shipping standards
    • Parts issuing and storage
    • Proper management of scrap parts
  • Ensure all stock room requests are responded to in a timely and efficient manner, meeting internal and external stakeholder needs.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels, forecasting future material needs, and ensuring sufficient stock to support ongoing projects.
  • Ensure that all materials and inventory are properly tagged and certified according to regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and manage the shelf-life program, ensuring that all materials and parts are used within their valid life span.
  • Ensure all calibration tools are correctly stored, tracked, and maintained in line with operational requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging material sources, and cost-saving opportunities to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all assigned areas, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect inventory and ensure accountability, safeguarding materials under your control.
  • Select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure the best quality and cost-effective materials are sourced.
  • Optimize transportation routes, select the best logistics providers, and manage warehousing and distribution to streamline material flow.
  • Regularly report on department KPIs, analyzing performance and implementing corrective actions where needed to improve operational efficiency.

Supply Chain Supervisor Position Requirements

  • Previous stores related experience
  • Ability to learn and adhere to the Company's General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and 14
  • CFR Parts 43, and 135 Regulations.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for Maintenance Stores
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Professional certification in a plus.
  • Prior experience in the airline industry a plus.
  • Prefer at least three (3) years in a stores management/supervisory role.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
