Your responsibilities will include preparing technical drawings and schematicsbased on specifications, blueprints, sketches, and layouts. You will utilize CAD software and other tools to transform initial product designs into detailed working documents, through collaboration with engineers or designers.
You'll also review engineering drawings to ensure they adhere to established specifications and standards.This position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and reports to a manager or department head.
Responsibilities:
∙Collaborate on a variety of structural and civil land development projects, including but not limited to site utilities, paving, grading, drainage systems, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys.
∙Prepare drawings for wastewater collection, water lines, storm sewer systems for municipalities, and other related civil engineering projects.
∙Calculate project quantities to support design and construction processes.
Qualifications:
∙Associates or Technical degree in Drafting & Design is required.
∙1-5 years of related civil and land development drafting experience.
∙Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD Civil3D.
∙MUST have 3D design experience.
∙Ability to read and interpret plans, contours, and profiles.
∙Capability to lead plan preparation from survey data acquisition and base map preparation through final plats and record drawings with minimal guidance.
∙Competence in setting up and managing drafting and plan preparation standards.
