Sustainability and ESG Manager

Are you a highly motivated and experienced professional with a passion for sustainability and ESG in the Oil & Gas industry We are seeking a Sustainability and ESG Manager to join our team in Kuwait. In this pivotal role, you will lead our Sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, driving our sustainability agenda, implementing ESG strategies, and enhancing our environmental and social impact. Your responsibilities: Develop and implement the company's sustainability strategy, goals, and targets in alignment with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations. Lead the integration of sustainability principles into business operations, processes, and decision-making across the organization. Conduct ESG assessments and identify material ESG risks and opportunities for the company. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Manage the company's ESG reporting process, including the preparation of sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, and responses to sustainability questionnaires and surveys. Monitor and track key sustainability and ESG performance indicators, analyze trends, and report findings to senior management and stakeholders. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, suppliers, and community partners, to promote transparency and collaboration on sustainability and ESG initiatives. Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and standards related to sustainability and ESG, and provide guidance on their implications for the organization. Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with departments such as operations, finance, human resources, and marketing to drive sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives. Drive continuous improvement in sustainability performance through the implementation of best practices, innovation, and stakeholder engagement. Represent the company in external forums, conferences, and industry associations to showcase sustainability leadership and share best practices. Your Technical Background: Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or related field. Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 15 years of O&G experience in sustainability, ESG management, corporate responsibility, or related field. Strong understanding of sustainability principles, ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD), and relevant regulations and standards. Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability and ESG strategies, initiatives, and programs. Certification in sustainability (e.g., CSR-P, GSCP, LEED) is a plus.
