Job Title: Sustainability Manager\n \n Location: Uxbridge, London (sites across London inside the commuter belt) \n \nWorking pattern: 5 days per week, site/office based.\n \n Salary: £60,000 - £70,000\n \n Are you a demonstrated, knowledgeable and proactive Sustainability Manager who has a passion for creating sustainable improvements and initiatives and who is looking to develop your career, with a forward-thinking and highly reputable and dynamic property developer?\n \n If so, this is the job for you!\n \n HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for a Sustainability Manager, with the opportunity to represent a progressive company, who are going through an exciting period of growth.\n \nThe role will be focused on advising and supporting the group on all sustainability related matters, implementing sustainability processes and strategies.\n \n Main Responsibilities:\n\nAdvise and support the Group on all sustainability related matters.\nCollate, review, and analyse sustainability related data, metrics, and reports to identify issues and potential opportunities for improvement within the Group.\nComplying with ESOS (energy saving opportunity scheme)\nSECR (streamlined energy and carbon reporting)\nCarbon reduction initiatives\nAccurate carbon reporting and calculation\nIdentifying the detail required for net-zero target\nSMARTwaste development\nDevelop detailed initiatives to reduce waste and improve circular economy\nContinue to develop initiatives for water efficiency\nIdentify ways to improve BNG (biodiversity net gain) and enhance ‘living closer to nature’ initiatives\nLiaison and interface with the technical team\nIdentify the detail required to meet London Square’s net zero targets\nCoordinate and deliver strategic initiatives for long-term performance gains\nSustainability risk analysis\nTCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures)\nSocial Housing Reporting Standards \nExperience required:\n\nAn experienced Sustainability Manager looking to enhance their career and get involved from day one\nPreferable developer experience within the built environment\nA self-starter who can work independently and effectively\n Ideal Personality Traits:- \n\nExcellent interpersonal skills, with gravitas and ability to influence and lead\nComprehensive knowledge of Sustainability practices and metrics\nPassionate about Sustainability and Environmental initiatives.\n Interested?
