System Engineer Lead - HVAC

We’re makingthe lives of people who travel easier and more enjoyable while constantly developingnew, intelligent mobility solutions!We are looking for System Engineer Lead – HVACYou’ll make a difference by·Ableto define the architecture, the functionalities of the Heating, Ventilation andAir conditioning systems. Define the technical specification to the supplier asper customer requirements.·Knowledgeof multiple areas of application like Metro, Passenger Coaches, Locomotives,etc.·Functionallymanage project activities and/or external engineering sub-contractors.·Collaboratewith other functional groups to manage requirements and provide inputs forinterfacing with Software, electrical and mechanical groups.·Leadthe technical development of interior air-conditioning adhering to the Quality,Cost & Delivery (QCD) commitments of the Project/Tender.·Keyinterface for HVAC systems from India to work with Headquarters / Lead unit inEurope or across the globe.·Deployand apply development procedures, Engineering processes and PLM milestones intothe design and development of HVAC systems.·Ensurean efficient interface & alignment with internal / External stakeholderssuch as Engineering, Procurement, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Projectmanagement, suppliers & subcontractors for assigned project / Tender.·Responsiblefor Requirement management for HVAC systems scope and ensuring internalstakeholders & external suppliers’ compliance in line with project QCDtargets.·Responsiblefor Supplier identification, qualification & development from theEngineering side for HVAC systems.·Evaluatingtechnical offers from suppliers (Clause-by-clause reply).·Lead& organize Design reviews as per project/Tender milestones and getnecessary approvals for design release.·Responsiblefor testing and validation of HVAC systems and leading, approval from theEngineering side. Able to define the test plan and validate the test proceduresto align with the customer.·Estimatingtechnical risks and defining mitigation plans.·Follow-upof engineering planning and anticipating potential delay in relation withinterfaces·Supportfor Localization & FAI of the major equipment and its sub-systems.·DesiredSkills:·MechanicalEngineer with a minimum 8 years’ experience in HVAC subsystem design anddevelopment in the Rolling stock industry; specifically in the Indian market.·AdditionalKnow-how of interior installation design and development will be preferred.·Knowhowand use Creo & PDM link will be an added advantage.·Hasalready worked (preferably) with Train builders & interior suppliers.·Ableto demonstrate management of engineering teams when applicable.·Beingagile, ability to prioritize and to work effectively under pressure to meet thedeadline.·Ableto work in an international & multicultural environment within a matrixorganization structure.·Goodwritten and spoken communication skills (in English), and German language willbe an added advantage.·Readyto travel locally and internationally when required by projects.Desired Skills:·Mechanical Engineerwith a minimum 8 years’ experience in HVAC subsystem design and development inthe Rolling stock industry; specifically in the Indian market.·Additional Know-how ofinterior installation design and development will be preferred.·Knowhow and use Creo& PDM link will be an added advantage.·Has already worked(preferably) with Train builders & interior suppliers.·Able to demonstratemanagement of engineering teams when applicable.·Being agile, ability toprioritize and to work effectively under pressure to meet the deadline.·Able to work in aninternational & multicultural environment within a matrix organizationstructure.·Good written and spokencommunication skills (in English), and German language will be an addedadvantage.·Ready to travel locallyand internationally when required by projects.Join us and be yourself!
