As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing information systems that support an enterprise infrastructure. You will also provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company's culture and overall vision.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a large organisation within the public sector, located in Birmingham. This government institution is highly respected and committed regulator of commercial services.\n\nDescription\n\nThe successful Systems Architect will be responsible for:\n\nDesigning and implementing information systems that support enterprise infrastructure.\nDeveloping, documenting, and managing the architectural blueprints for the enterprise's IT systems.\nProviding strategic guidance to teams and project managers.\nEnsuring the alignment of the IT strategy and programming with company's business goals.\nOptimising information management approaches through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities.\nPromoting shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows.\nEnsuring that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies.\nWorking with IT project management to develop an overall IT schedule along with resource allocation.Profile\n\nThe successful Systems Architect should have:\n\nA thorough understanding of complex information and requirements.\nAn educated understanding of systems architecture and knowledge in the specific field of the public sector.\nA proven track record of leading and supporting successful projects.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical for non-technical colleagues.Job Offer\n\nDaily rate of £500 - £700 per day (rate to umbrella) dependent on experience\n\nPlease note this role is inside IR35 and will require 1-2 days per week on-site in Birmingham
