Systems Development Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSanhua International is looking to add a Systems Electrical Engineer to join their Automotive office in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has previous experience and knowledge of refrigeration systems modeling. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Heat pump and Air conditioning system development research and testing to support N/A programs 
• Develop system function modeling, system testing bench and testing plan to validate system hardware configuration and control logic to meet system performance requirements  
• Research system control logic to achieve system performance requirements 
• Research new system integration technology, modeling techniques to solve critical simulation problems 
• Research new testing methods, equipment, and software to improve test efficiency, quality and repeatability 
• Define system bench mechanical and flow requirement 
• Manage and coordinate multiple tasks to meet project timeline 
• Conduct benchmarking research in electric vehicle thermal system 
• Review and analyze test data, provide technical advice to engineering teams 
• Work with the China team and support the develop of the next products 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Master’s degree in mechanical engineering 
• Knowledge and experience of refrigeration system modeling, including component and system 1D simulation methodology as well as python programming 
• Hand-on refrigeration system research and testing experience 
• Familiar with NI hardware configuration, LabVIEW programming or python programming 
• Strong logical thinking, analytical ability, and modeling skills 
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and creativity skills required
