Systems Engineer

About the Role



We're seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our client’s innovative medical technology team. You'll be working on complex medical devices, collaborating with a tight-knit team of engineers to develop and enhance sophisticated diagnostic instruments.



What You'll Do



* Lead system engineering initiatives across mechanical, electrical, and electronic components



* Design and optimise complex medical device systems including actuators, motors, and electronic boards



* Develop and update instrument designs to address manufacturing challenges



* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all system components



* Drive continuous improvement in product design and functionality



Required Skills & Experience



* 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in medical technology



* Strong background in complex electrical medical devices



* Demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering



* Hands-on experience with electronic product development



* Experience with moving parts and system integration



Desired Experience



* IVD Diagnostics background



* Medical device regulatory knowledge
