Student (College Level) Systems Engineer

Minimum Requirements And Qualification
- Actively enrolled in a Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering program, or related discipline, from an accredited college
- Highly motivated; able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision while utilizing virtual collaboration tools.
- 1+ years of applicable experience
Experience :
- General knowledge of vulnerability analysis
- Previous experience working with government contractors
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge/Skills Needed:
- Understanding of technical theories / concepts in field of systems engineering design and manufacturing
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in team environment interacting with a variety of functional areas and management levels
Major Responsibility Areas And Duties
- Work with experienced software and systems engineering professionals to learn system engineering principles on a large-scale program
- Research new components, technologies, and methods to incorporate into new designs
- Assist in the creation and review of documentation required to support configuration and implementations of multi-function designs.
- Participate in discussions on requirements and system specifications
- Interfaces with software, systems, and mechanical engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured and accomplished
- Works with systems engineers to ensure that all requirements are identified, captured, and analyzed, such that design can be developed that satisfy the requirements
- Works with Project Engineers to ensure design solutions are delivered on time and on budget and meet other project management requirement
- Other duties as directed.
** Must be able to maintain a school/work schedule of a minimum of 15 hours and a maximum of 29 hours per week **
