Job Description:





We are seeking a Junior Systems Engineer with experience in IT and cloud security to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Human Capital Service Center (HCSC). The role involves implementing cybersecurity engineering requirements and integrating cloud solutions in both federal and commercial industries.





Key Responsibilities:





Assist in implementing cybersecurity requirements into systems and applications.





Support cloud design, security development, and system engineering efforts.





Collaborate with senior engineers on A&A and ATO activities.





Analyze and apply federal policies and standards in system implementation.





Qualifications:





Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related fields.





IAT I, IAM I, or IASAE I certification required.





Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT and cloud security, including 1 year at a government agency.





Basic understanding of cloud solutions and federal cybersecurity requirements.





Skills:





Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.





Good communication and collaboration skills.





Basic knowledge of FedRAMP/RMF processes.
