SYSTEMS ENGINEER (SEAWATCH)

The Systems Engineer engineering support services for C5I development and designing of SEAWATCH including integrated hardware and software solutions, requirements analysis, integrated system design, and integration with external systems and navigational sensors, and distribution of navigational data across information networks. The Systems Engineer conducts research and calculations on proposed designs. This is a full-time position.
Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Systems Evaluation
- Analyze requirements, proposing requirements updates, and assisting in updating existing requirements.
- Conducting market research and analysis. Provide recommendations based on system requirements.
- Develop Optical architecture/single line and block diagrams/drawings, Space Weight and Power Cooling (SWaP-C) analysis, Bill Of Materials (BOM) and SELC artifacts for prototype solution.
- Developing test procedures (based on the requirements) and test reports; assembling, prototyping/staging and conducting tests on the proposed solution.
- Develop and establish the system architecture and initial configuration baselines, performing configuration audits, change management for systems entering test evolutions.
- The Contractor shall develop and review logistics related documents such as equipment support manuals, equipment support sheets, maintenance requirements, maintenance procedures, job aids, integrated logistic support plans.
- Organize engineering team activities to include facilitate engineering integrated team meetings, coordinate completion of engineering artifacts, preparing engineering artifacts presentations for, and participate in, System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events.
- The Contractor shall assist in documenting changes to established baselines to include software and hardware version descriptions in accordance with C5ISC change management framework.
- Supports configuration control board process.
Mandatory:
- Eight (8) years of applicable work experience.
- Experience performing system engineering development and analysis.
- Experience with maritime navigation standards.
- Experience in EC/TCTO development processes and milestones.
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance.
