The opportunity:

As a Consultant at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, you'll play a pivotal role in providing top-notch consultancy services to our clients, demonstrating expertise and leadership within your technical domain. Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Undertaking commercial consultancy work across various core skills of the company.
  • Supervising consultancy projects assigned to project staff, ensuring client satisfaction and meeting company standards.
  • Reporting on technical aspects of projects to relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Assisting in interpreting client requirements and proposing suitable technical solutions.
  • Identifying training needs and recommending appropriate courses.
  • Crafting clear and concise reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of the company's reputation and business development activities.
  • Managing large or complex projects, defining resourcing requirements, and planning project tasks effectively.
  • Writing proposals, identifying and mitigating project risks, and supporting business development initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, taking ownership of project deliverables, and producing effective proposals.

We currently have key projects within:

  • Rail
  • Defence Maritime Infrastructure

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, working towards or achieved Chartered status.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to constructively support positions with data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain an AGSVA security clearance through Australian citizenship
