Position Summary
The Manager of Strategic Talent Operations is critical to the strategic direction of the talent team and related initiatives to attract, retain, and develop talent across the business. Through direct and indirect leadership, the Talent Manager will derive and execute processes and procedures, build systems and tools for best practice, manage vendor relationships, drive stakeholder engagement, and support the overall leadership team in deriving metrics and standards that meet our talent/workforce goals.
Compensation Range: $115,000 – $130,000 Commensurate with experience.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform as Lead for Talent Acquisition goals and derive strategies to increase candidate engagement and retention. This includes full-cycle talent recruitment with a focus on a variety of roles from entry-level to senior leadership.
- Successful development and execution of the end-to-end recruitment process while effectively utilizing the processes, systems, and tools in place in partnership with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist and wider talent team; drive standardization.
- Conduct in-depth intake meetings with leaders to ensure alignment on position, impact, and expectations while providing market insights and education.
- Develop practices that will produce exceptional hiring and overall candidate experience whilst driving candidate retention. This requires an understanding of talent gaps, talent skill analysis, and cultural alignments.
- Successfully drive and manage the candidate relationship with abilities in soft close approach and final engagement negotiations both in initial and counter offers. This includes continuous revision and improvement to the process where required on behalf of self and team.
- The primary point of contact for recruitment vendors such as sourcing partners, application tracking system, and similar professional platforms managing the vendor performance, financial impact, and service.
- Contribute to performance-related metrics and reporting such as team metrics, cost-per-hire analysis, resource management, critical review of hiring pipelines, , etc.
- Contribute to day-to-day requests related to workload balance, issues/conflict resolution, and compliance
- Create and administer regular training sessions on best practices, compliance, and processes for the team and wider business.
- Supervise the team’s adherence to, and quality of, talent metrics, processes, procedures, compliance, and alike.
- Continuous mentoring and development of peers.
- Direct management and accountability.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to lead and manage varied sourcing strategies to acquire talent including but not limited to job boards and social media sites.
- Proficient in MS Office and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging, powerful presentations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of work, coordinating multiple requests to successful completion, including managing multiple stakeholders across the business.
- Strong business acumen, influencing skills, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to manage financials related to general talent expenses, cost-saving initiatives, and/or manage an assigned budget accordingly.
- Ability to mentor and develop peers, processes, procedures, and standards whilst deriving a collaborative and cohesive team environment.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
- Ability to commit to 25% travel including travel to career fairs, network functions, assist with in-person interviews in another location, etc. on an as-needed basis.
Education and Experience
- Five (5) + years of experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous Leadership/Management experience is preferable.
- Previous project management experience is preferable.
- Technical, Engineering, and/or Executive recruitment experience .
- General understanding and knowledge of Human Resource laws related to hiring, talent, and employee movement.
- Bachelor’s degree .
