We are searching for a Tank Welder.

Essential Functions of the job include (but are not limited to):

  • Handles welding and fitting both mild steel and stainless steel, welding parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes
  • Must be able to utilize both MIG and TIG
  • Performs thermal cutting and grinding, repairing broken or cracked parts, filling holes, increasing the size of metal parts
  • Order and receive parts and supplies as needed
  • Adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes
  • Clean, organize and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Possess both welding and fitting skills
  • Ability to operate an acetylene torch
  • Read and comprehend measurements, and job sheets
  • Worked in an industrial setting
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Welding Certificate is a plus, but not required
