Our Service Area Renewables for the Northern Europe region drives our strategic ambitions to be a Project-, Performance- and Risk Minimization- focused team, providing Technical Advisory Services to the full lifecycle of projects across wind, solar and battery storage to support the energy transition. Services include feasibility and energy production assessments, technical due diligence, owner’s engineering, measurements and operational services.The Department Project Development and Project Engineering (PD&PE) is one of three departments in Renewables and delivers technical and analytical advisory services for all concerned stakeholders to support the development and optimization of onshore and offshore wind projects over the lifetime of a project. The Department covers Northern Europe where the team is divided into three geographic areas: Benelux & Germany, Nordics and Poland.The Benelux & Germany section has more than 20 people today located in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. The section covers several market segments and continues to grow and is therefore now seeking a Team Lead. Position Description:As a Team Lead you will support business operations with regards to our existing PD&PE services and growth of our market share and service offerings in Benelux and Germany. You will manage approximately 12 team members in these countries and report to the Head of Section.You will closely with our department’s Business Leads on commercial opportunities to strengthen and expand business, including driving the doer/seller culture, and has a strong focus on delivery, utilization, and efficiency gains within the team. You will partner with Key Account Managers, Market Area Managers and Segment Leads to support the delivery of an excellent customer experience while stimulating collaboration within the Section and PD&PE department teams, as well as across the broader organization. You will ensure that the team has the right capabilities and competencies and strives for a high performing open collaborative culture and positive employee experience.The overall purpose of the job is to support the on- and offshore wind team in its role to help DNV safeguard life, property and the environment and achieve our company vision: to be a trusted voice to tackle global transformations.The role is permanent and based in Arnhem (the Netherlands), Oldenburg, or Hamburg (Germany).On your work you will: Provide support and follow-up of team members in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, empowering and encouraging their employability and individual growth. Take care of resource management, allowing reasonable workload for the team. Ensure an efficient & consistent delivery of services in line with customer expectations. Ensure that employees have the required technical competences and owns the pipeline for technical talent/future needed capabilities. Stimulate a high performing culture. Support the Head of Section in strategy and decision making. Spend about 40-50% of time on projects.
