Technical Advisor (Electrical)

ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will work closely with the Merchandising team and be responsible for Electrical & Electronic Products (e.g. SDA, Lighting, Electronics & Accessories, Sanitary ). The main tasks and duties include: Ensure quality & regulatory compliance of CE & Non-CE products Determine product testing requirements for EU & Swiss markets Manage any concerns about testing requirements and quality issues Conduct risk-based product evaluations and testings for safety & compliance Conduct supplier chain & internal audits and follow-up corrective actions Maintain effective working relationships with merchandizing team, customer QA and service providers Assist department head to implement quality strategies to support the business growth Deliver effective trainings to merchandizing & suppliers to meet customers needs & expectations Requirements Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related disciplines At least 2 years solid experience in quality field or testing lab Solid knowledge in EU product requirements is preferable Strong analytical and time management skills Proactive and self-motivated to work independently and efficiently Team player with effective communication skill Able to work under pressure Travel to China / Asia countries when necessary Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin Sound PC knowledge including MS office
