We are looking for a Technical Director (Fiber) to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC.

About the role
The Technical Director (Fiber) will support the operations department with technical assistance. This individual will seamlessly manage and oversee technical requirements and quality, ensuring that the services rendered by the business are of the highest standard and technically sound to the customers’ satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Build and implement strategies to improve and maintain a high level of technical quality on Ripple Fiber’s service offering and core builds to clients.
- Propose, advance, and refine new and existing technical processes as well as devise concepts that give Ripple Fiber a competitive edge over its competitors in the market.
- Assume technical oversight on planning and core build stock procurement to ensure a high degree of quality and seamless implementation.
- Provide support services to Operations and define procedures to improve operational efficiencies and network maintenance.
- Analyze ticket trends & report of ticket fault causes, investigate network improvements on existing maintenance networks.
- Devise and implement highly effective training and development strategies to strengthen the technical advantage of Ripple Fiber among current competitors.
- Assess Quality and competency of all subcontractors aligned to their scope of work.
- Assist IT department with internal network support.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry working specifically with fiber.
- Fiber certification.
- Telecommunications or Engineering degree.
- Proven history of network deployment experience.
