This opportunity is to join a high performing national team of security services professionals providing security and risk solutions to GHD's key Clients.Our global network is made up of architects, designers, planners, engineers, and environmental scientists all working towards the same goal.Join a team that brings inspirational architecture, landscapes, townscapes and places to our world, and we’ll provide you unlimited space to grow.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in, but not limited to: Providing high quality, creative, value-added detailed design solutions that fit the needs of our clients and communities. In particular, you will be designing: Integrated Electronic Access Control, Security and Building Management Systems IP based integrated Closed Circuit Tele-Vison (CCTV) and Video Analytics Systems Electronic Security Systems including High Security Type 1A Alarm Systems Communications and Electronic Security Networks Undertaking and reporting on Security Risk and Threat Assessments (SRTAs) for a variety of federal and local government agencies and clients Project Management and delivery of project solutions to program and budget Building and maintaining trust based, long term professional relationships with clients across all levels What you will bring to the team Bachelor of Engineering Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) / Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) Demonstrated, recent experience in the security environment (essential) Eligibility for Commonwealth Government Security Clearance (essential) – GHD will support the application process Recent working experience with Govt Agencies, especially Correctional Facilities and Defence (highly regarded) Security risk management degree/diploma (preferred) Eligibility to obtain Security Licence (essential) Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely Interested?
