CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Engineer III opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 12 months

Hybrid: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm; Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Pay: We offer hourly and salaried options, starting at $50/hr

Overview:

• Serves as an advanced technologist for a specific technology or set of technologies.
• Involves hands-on engineering, mentoring junior staff, working with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering infrastructure solutions that align with the organization’s business needs and technology strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Technology management, senior engineers, and support teams to implement and manage technical solutions.
• Participate in infrastructure review, implementation, and design; create support and architectural documentation, standards, and testing procedures.
• Independently interface with business partners at various levels to understand and clarify business requirements and technical solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage vendor resources as needed.
• Mentor and review the work of junior engineers, technicians, and integrators.
• Stay up to date on trends and technologies in the Financial Services industry.
• Promote and follow industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of Bank systems, applications, development environments, and vendor technologies.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• This position will assist with an effort to evaluate, engineer, and deploy the Windows 11 upgrade to a subset of machines within their environment.
• Maintaining desktop standards, configurations, and policies for optimized endpoint management.
• Building out Security requirements and evaluating project requirements.
• Will be troubleshooting, reimaging , and getting feedback.
• Making changes and supporting upgrades.
• Group is working on 2000 machines.

Education and Experience :

• Key skills are experience with Windows Operating system upgrades, imaging, and deployment.
• Expertise in SCCM and Intune for device management, software deployment, and patching.
• More of a Senior Engineer, a SME with SCCM and imaging.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
