HiFyve is hiring a Technical Field Service Engineer based in the U.S.
Applicants can live anywhere, must possess a valid passport and TWIC card for domestic and international travel.
Salary:$110 to $150K Annually + OT (non-exempt role)
Schedule:Work Schedule Pending Travel Demands
Location:Based Remotely, Travel across U.S. and Canada
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rotational and turbo machinery.
- Lead field service teams, up to 20 people, and ensure projects meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues, collecting and reporting data to improve performance and reliability.
- Advise customers on operational best practices, maintenance programs, and spare parts planning.
- Perform vibration diagnostics, technical assessments, and customer training.
- Collaborate across teams, including engineering, field service, and aftermarket sales.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- MUST be flexible for travel between U.S. and Canada for up to 90 days at a time
- Valid Passport or ability to obtain a Passport
- TWIC Card Required
- Minimum 10+ years hands-on experience with Steam Turbines and Compressors
- Customer Experience Mindset to drive external solutions forward
- Advanced supervisory skills and ability to lead large, complex field projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to train others and lead technical discussions.
- Experience working with international teams and contractors.
