Technical Field Service Representative

A leading OEM specializing in manufacturing robotic equipment integrations is seeking a Technical Field Service Representative to lead its field service operations and deliver exceptional customer support.

The Field Service Manager will primarily troubleshoot and resolve machine issues with customers through phone and video calls. This role includes managing a small team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance, and ensuring efficient resolution of customer concerns. While travel is minimal (approximately 10%), occasional onsite visits may be required for complex machine installations.

In addition to remote support, the Field Service Manager will collaborate with the shop team to assist in equipment building and testing. This hands-on involvement ensures comprehensive knowledge of the machinery and enhances the support provided to customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote technical support to customers, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Manage a small team of field service technicians, ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for equipment installations or troubleshooting.
  • Assist the shop team with equipment assembly and testing to maintain a deep understanding of the product line.
