Technical Manager in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 524111) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical/Health Sciences or a related discipline with at least 5 years’ post-qualification work experience. They should have key knowledge of the latest research technologies, experience in protocol development and project management, demonstrated good leadership and laboratory management skills, and a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. They should also be organized, responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.The appointee will oversee the operation of the laboratories; offer technical advice to juniors; implement standard operation protocols; contribute to scientific publications; and perform other duties as assigned.A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefit.
