Technical Manager (MEP Building Services)

They are now seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join the team and play a key role in a landmark £70m MEP healthcare development. This is a rare opportunity to influence the technical delivery of a significant building services scheme.
The Role
As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design coordination, technical compliance, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
You will:

Lead technical interface between design, project, and client teams
*
Coordinate and review design documentation, ensuring compliance and buildability
*
Engage with consultants, suppliers, and specialist contractors
*
Identify and resolve technical risks or issues as they arise
*
Drive innovation and best practice in MEP delivery
✅ What We’re Looking For
We are open to candidates from either a contracting or consultancy background:
Ideal candidates will be either:
*
An existing Technical or Design Manager within a medium-to-large MEP contractor
Or
*
A Senior or Associate Building Services Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) from a consultancy, ready to move contractor side
You’ll also have:
*
A recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
*
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and healthcare compliance standards
*
A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and coordination skills
