Technical Office Engineer (Pipeline)

Job Description

  • Proficient to work with EPC contractor for the Timely Completion
  • Capable to prepare and finalized the Construction work packages & Tie-in’s
  • Capable to work Extensively for the Installation work package (IWP) and the Workface planning (WFP) for organizing and delivering (AWP) advanced work package methodology by implementing the IWP Work package
  • Capable for Field verification related Tie in prior to demolition / construction.
  • Material Tracking to expedite the action on Hold & Field Concerns.
  • Capable to work and resolve the Variation against EPC Contractor Claim.
  • Capable of Tie-in Material handling for Plot areas, 3rd party Tie-in & interfaces
  • Capable to work with Field Engineering and QS for the material control
  • Capable to expedite package Vendor input for the construction methodology.
  • Capable to work on Field variation for the Field Change Request, Design change , Red line for the Test pack & As- Buil requirement.
  • Capable to ensure the Pre-shutdown & shutdown as per Design methods
  • Conduct continuous field inspections ensuring technical adherence.
  • Support Punch points closing and assist the Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering. (B.E / BSc Engineering - Pipeline / Mechanical)
  • Master’s degree / Certification in Pipeline as an additional Qualification
  • Reporting to

  • Engineering Manager / Technical office manager
  • Additional Information

  • 10 - 15 years of experience in the Mechanical Equipment (Static & Rotary Oil & Gas) Pipeline, Flow Line, Cross Country Pipeline (oil & gas) in the EPC / EPCM / LSTK Projects with in GCC Countries.
  • Good knowledge on International & Adnoc Standards for the Equipment
  • Able to interact with Process, Piping, CSA discipline for Tie-in’s / Interface
  • Ability to work on own initiative to travel frequently to site.
  • Capable to handle independently & professionally the Field requirement
  • Awareness of Safety & Quality norms of Equipment (Oil & Gas) Industry
  • Able to communicate good English (Professionally Spoken and Written Skill)
  • Proficiency working on AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, ERM
  • Proven ability to work with a multicultural and Multinational project team
  • Professionally interacting with multiple disciplines including Client’s
