We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative solutions for a digital health transformation project. This person should have a strong background in technical product development or DevOps and be passionate about applying cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems in the healthcare domain. The Technical Product Manager will be comfortable managing engineering organizations and portfolio organizations and will define product strategy and guide technical execution.

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for delivering value to end users by overseeing products across the product delivery lifecycle (including planning, design, testing, and implementation). They will serve as a SME for the application and delivery of products across federal healthcare related systems.

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for:

  • Serve as domain expert and first point of contact for the application and delivery of products across federal healthcare related systems.
  • Foster 'end-to-end' ownership mindset to become expert in product launch lifecycle and touchpoints needed to ensure success.
  • Develop and own product roadmap, including driving quarterly strategic planning process to translate broader org initiatives, customer feedback, and backlog into prioritized list of new capabilities, functionality, or activities for product team focus in upcoming 1-4 quarters.
  • Ability to think critically, drive work independently, accurately prioritize responsibilities, and develop informed recommendations.
  • Engage the right stakeholders to ensure successful launch with utilizing the Program's expertise and resources.
  • Work with product teams and vendor partners to monitor the progress of ongoing project efforts, including escalating risks and changes to cost, schedule, or performance of the solution.
  • Consolidate and incorporate Lessons Learned for product launches and coordinate with other Product Managers to share best practices.

Qualifications, Education, and Skills Requirements:

  • US Citizenship with the ability to achieve a Public Trust or higher clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in strategy, business management, or project management .
  • Five or more years of experience in technical product management, product management, software engineering, dev ops, or cloud infrastructure, with a strong grasp of modern development practices, preferably working with Federal Government agencies.
  • Experience with Technical Product Management, including developing & maintaining a Product Roadmap.
  • Proficient computer and reporting skills: Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of tailoring messages in a clear, concise, unambiguous, engaging, and convincing manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple & fragmented responsibilities at once.
  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and foster partnerships with program colleagues and government leaders.

Additional Desires and Considerations

  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA) a plus.
  • 6-8 years of technical product management experience is desirable.
  • Experience with MHS GENESIS highly desirable.
  • Active Secret Clearance or recently held.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, informatics, and digital transformation.
  • Professional experience and or training/certification in product management, program management, technical deployment.
  • Military or veteran hiring preference.

work locations include Washington, DC, mid-Atlantic region or Pensacola, FL Metropolitan Area. Hybrid work schedule.
