Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Program Manager - Whole Vehicle (EV) who will join our client’s team, a British motorcycle brand delivering exquisite riding experiences. The successful candidate will lead the Engineering activity for a new Vehicle product line to ensure new models are successfully delivered from concept to production.

The Technical Program Manager - Whole Vehicle (EV) will:

• Ensure test and validation plans are appropriate to the program, including benchmarking, mule testing and prototype validation.
• Co-ordinate IT and data management requirements for the engineering function to ensure effective communication with suppliers and partners.
• Develop and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) for the program.
• Ensure that the technical targets and requirements are clearly defined and agreed with all stakeholders and then ensure these are delivered on time and to budget.
• Manage delivery of Engineering activities from either internal departmental resource or from third party Engineering Service Providers (ESPs), depending on company strategy / resources.

The Technical Program Manager - Whole Vehicle (EV) will have:

• Prior experience in the motorcycle industry is essential.
• Ability to present program delivery information clearly and concisely at a level appropriate to the target audience.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail across multiple workstreams.
• Experience in Leading the interface between the Engineering delivery team and project management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and program including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
