JOB OBJECTIVES:
• Receive and act general guidance, objectives and some specific work assignments from the Engineering Manager.
• Act as the technical authority and focal point for engineering issues related to technical safety and environment.
• Coordinate among design team with PMC/PMT's discipline engineering professionals.
• Be the main focal point towards Company and providing support in the reviewing of major comments and finding a solution.
• Lead the technical safety and environment team to complete the relevant design independently with sufficient technical level and coordination ability.
• Be good at communicating and coordinating with the engineering team and the owner.
• Take the responsibility for technical safety and environment design throughout the engineering, procurement, construction installation and commissioning stages.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Lead or assist the technical safety and environment design team in collaborating with the owner to determine the deliverable document list for technical safety and environment team, maximizing the simplification of the deliverable list and quality requirements, and maximizing the shortening of the delivering time and reduction of the required resources for the deliverables (both internal and external).
• Lead or assist in determining the specific technical route and work plan for technical safety team.
• Lead or assist in developing technical requirements for third-party consulting company.
• Participate in the preparation and review of some important Philosophy, Calculation, Requirement, Plan, Procedure and Specification deliverables; Prepare and review some important Datasheet, list, layout templates. Provide explanation or instruction on all analysis items if required by the technical safety team. Refer to the following table:
• Participate in workshops conducted by third-party consulting company such as HAZID, HAZOP, ENVID, SIL Classification, SIMPOS, HFE study, etc. Participate in the review of studies conducted by third-party consulting company such as QRA, FERA, RAM, etc. Provide explanation of all reviewed items if requested by the technical safety team. Refer to the following table:
• Lead or assist in the review of relevant vendor documents.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree of major in oil and nature gas process. An advance degree in engineering is preferable.
• Minimum of eight (10) years’ experience in Project Engineering and/or construction, including five (5) years’ experience as an technical safety and environment lead of facilities/project engineering at EPCI phase;
• Extensive familiarity with technical safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, FERA, SIL, etc.) experience of chairing workshops and preparing specific deliverables is preferable. Extensive familiarity with the applicable standards (API, ASME,NPFA, ISO standard, if familiar with Indonesia standards is preferable.)
• Extensive familiarity with the process & risk simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, DNV SAFETI, DNV PHAST, PHA PRO, etc.).
• Extensive familiarity with oil & gas treatment process in all cases, including normal, emergency, start-up, shut down, etc.
• Good team membership and forthcoming to support the section with additional task requests as necessary.
• Proactive and positive attitude willing to closely follow up and push issues to a successful resolution.
• Strong analytical, tactical and strategic thinking skills with a bias towards action.
• Self-Starter with strong work ethic, and great time management and
communication skills • Excellent English interpersonal, written, and communications skills. International project engineering experience is mandatory.
• Prefer person who has Total projects experiences.
