This Technical Sales Consultant for Water Services role is a great opportunity to join an experienced and passionate team. As experts in Duct Cleaning and Legionella control, our client provides services and training in all aspects of water, ventilation, and grease hygiene, including TR19 Grease Compliance Cleaning and L8 Compliance, to the public sector, utility companies, and industrial, commercial, and retail clients. Established with rigorous growth plans, our client is looking for talented employees who are willing to learn and join their knowledgeable team.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAs a Technical Sales Consultant for water services, you will follow sales processes to provide a smooth and efficient service to customers, while helping to grow the water hygiene business by maximising sales opportunities.\n\nAct as the first point of contact for new water hygiene business enquiries, maintaining a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach.\n\nHandle new water hygiene business enquiries and proactively manage your time across various workstreams within the sales function.\n\nPrepare and chase quotes, renew service contracts, and provide technical support to the wider sales team.\n\nExhibit excellent organisation and time management skills.\n\nJob Specific Functions:\n\nPrepare, send, and follow up quotes relating to the water hygiene business, working towards monthly KPIs.\n\nNurture good relationships with customers and colleagues.\n\nConfidently handle inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers.\n\nProactively respond to new business enquiries.\n\nIdentify and maximise sales opportunities.\n\nLearn the key fundamentals of legionella control.\n\nContribute towards the output of the sales team shared mailbox.\n\nManage work and time effectively to meet deadlines.\n\nResources Requirements:\n\nCompany Car\n\nSmartphone\n\nLaptop\n\nQuality & Environmental Responsibilities:\n\nBe familiar with and comply with all relevant sections of the company's Environmental Policy.\n\nEnsure that company processes and procedures are followed and that customers (internal and external) receive a quality service.\n\nHealth & Safety Responsibilities:\n\nFamiliarise yourself with and comply with all relevant sections of the company health & safety policy.\n\nAttend any health & safety meetings invited to or team meetings where health & safety updates are shared and OHSAS18001 standards are maintained.\n\nMeeting Attendance:\n\nMonthly and quarterly sales meetings.\n\nOther meetings as requested.\n\nProfile:\n\nA curious individual with good questioning and listening skills.\n\nA practically minded, great storyteller who can visualise a process and describe how your product will make prospects' lives easier.\n\nA person with a high level of personal self-motivation and drive.\n\nA disciplined individual able to consistently work to a process, efficiently using IT systems to achieve above-average results.\n\nRequirements:\n\nAt least two years of sales experience in a water hygiene-related role.\n\nProven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts.\n\nExcellent administration and organisational skills.\n\nHigh-level IT skills in Microsoft Office 365.\n\nAbility to show technical understanding of water hygiene legislation and guidance
