Due to the company’s continued success and expansion, we are now looking for a skilled and experienced Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic and growing team on a permanent basis.\n\nThe Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales Engineer will play a critical role in the company's growth, ensuring the smooth estimation of complex projects while contributing to the technical sales process. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a highly successful, high-profile sub-contract precision engineering company, producing a variety of components from simple machined parts to complex turnkey assemblies and products.\n\nWhat Experience Do You Need?\n\nTo be considered for this position as an Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales Engineer, applicants must have the following experience and qualifications:\n\n * A strong background in precision engineering and manufacturing\n\n * Proven experience working with complex parts for industries such as Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, and Oil & Gas\n\n * The ability to identify methods of manufacture from detailed engineering drawings\n\n * Solid knowledge of machining techniques (both CNC and manual)\n\n * Experience in calculating CNC cycle times, manning hours, and other related metrics\n\n * Strong understanding of tooling, jigs, and fixtures\n\n * Exposure to and experience with MRP/ERP systems\n\n * The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately\n\n * Confidence in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers\n\n * Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office\n\nWhat’s on Offer?\n\nThis role of Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales Engineer offers an attractive range of benefits, including:\n\n * A permanent position within a stable, successful company\n\n * Competitive salary of circa £50k, depending on experience\n\n * Working hours of 39 hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays\n\n * A modern working environment with ongoing investment in both people and technology\n\n * Benefits include: A company discretionary bonus, contributory pension scheme, sick pay, discounted gym memberships, and more\n\nThe company has an excellent reputation for its commitment to its employees, with future succession plans through an apprenticeship academy and personal development programs for all employees.\n\nAbout Us\n\nEMBS Engineering is a dedicated talent specialist, partnering with some of the UK’s most prestigious, advanced precision engineering companies in industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Green Energy, and FMCG.
