Pure Permanent Recruitment are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Sales Engineer for a client based close to Thame.Assignment duration: PermanentWorking hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm (30 min for lunch daily)Work location: HP18Work location: Office based (ideally but open to negotiation) with access to company vehicle for work travel.A little bit about the company:Our client provides a complete wood waste extraction service. Manufacture installation and servicing of a comprehensive range of sawdust and wood dust extractors and filter systems to the woodwork and timber industry.What the Technical Sales Engineer can be expected to do:Visiting customers and discussing the best products for their requirementsPreparing plans with detailed drawings, including project specifications and cost estimatesCoordinating and leading the installation team through the project, ensuring customer satisfaction at all timesProducing quotes in SageProducing parts and builds of quantity in AutoCADCompleting technical and regulatory documentsSales and service work including follow upClient liaison, including telephone and site visitsProject management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.What they ideal Technical Service Engineer will posses to carry out the role successfully:Engineering degree or BTEC Level 3 or Extended diploma in EngineeringAutoCAD LT - 2 Dimensional DrawingsBOHS P601/P602 - desirable but not essential, training available.Previous industry experienceDemonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations to clientsKnowledge of SalesAdvanced skills in critical software applications, such as AutoCAD LT 2 Dimensional Drawings, Microsoft Word, Access and ExcelExpertise in problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinkingUp-to-date knowledge and technical skills required to design and operate core products and services.Additional points to consider:The Technical Sales Engineer will be covering the whole of the UK and visiting clients 2 or 3 times a week. From time to time, there will be overnight stays required.
