JAKTOOL is seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Technical Sales Engineer with experience selling to U.S. Government customers. This is a hunting role, requiring a relentless, proactive approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, cold calling, networking, and other lead- activities to build and sustain a strong sales pipeline. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth by cultivating relationships with customers and effectively promoting our engineering services and solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Aggressively hunt for new business through extensive prospecting efforts, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, social media engagement, and trade show attendance.
- Independently identify, qualify, and cultivate leads, ensuring a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to engage key government accounts and industries.
- Build, nurture, and manage relationships with both existing and potential customers to deeply understand their needs and challenges.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our services and solutions, positioning them as the best fit for customer requirements.
- Customize proposals and presentations to effectively communicate how our offerings solve customer problems.
- Clearly articulate our value proposition, emphasizing the technical and operational advantages of our solutions.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, leveraging insights to refine sales approaches.
- Regularly travel to trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to maximize visibility and lead .
- Provide market feedback and strategic recommendations to leadership for continuous business growth.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a persistent and resilient sales approach.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in engineering, manufacturing or professional services.
- Proven success in B2G sales with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional prospecting and cold-calling abilities, with a fearless approach to initiating contact and developing new relationships.
- Technical aptitude to understand and articulate complex engineering concepts.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and highly disciplined, with a proactive and strategic mindset for sales success.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented sales environment.
- Proficiency in CRM Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
