We are excited to announce that a leading industrial automation expert specialising in robotics and aerospace is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join their incredible team. Based in the South West, our client has years of experience delivering state-of-the-art solutions to industry leaders and household names. Their reputation for solving complex industrial and engineering challenges sets them apart in the market.



The Role



To support their next ambitious phase of growth, we are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Manager to drive the strategic direction of their sales department.



Responsibilities



Manage and expand the company sales pipeline.

Identify and develop new markets for high-value industrial automation solutions.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting commercial relationships with customers.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scopes and provide accurate client bids within projected profit margins.

Create compelling and persuasive bid content tailored to various audiences and requirements.

Ensure proactive communication across departments.

About You



Proven experience in a senior technical sales role within aerospace, industrial automation, and/or composites.

Demonstrable success in delivering effective and profitable sales strategies.

Excellent organisational skills.

Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in verbal and written English.

Experience in supporting bid processes from start to finish.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.

Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.

Ability to understand and convey technical information regarding industrial automation technology and/or robotics.

Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas.
