You will like\n\nManaging technical sales for sensor products division fully remote in UK for an innovative engineering technology company renowned for solving challenging problems for blue-chip clients in the renewable energy, security, medical, transportation, aerospace and defence industries.\n\nYou will like\n\nThe Technical Sales Manager Sensors job itself where you will be responsible for the business development of Sensor products from technical design to commercial account management, having a solution approach with customers.\n\nTo develop a business strategy to continuously develop a sustainable new demand creation funnel and convert current opportunities to achieve the Sales and Margin budgets and KPI targets. To build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers. To develop an optimal solution for customers.  \n\nMore specifically:\n\nProactively identify new customers and target markets to grow and convert a sustainable demand creation funnel.

\n\t\nFollow-up and develop business lead with new and existing customers.\n\t\nTo maintain customer profile forms to ensure business strategies are clearly visible.\n\t\nEnsure close working relationships with key suppliers and conduct monthly reviews of key projects. \n\t\nAchievement of monthly and annual sales/margin targets and personal objectives.\n\t\nMaintain a good understanding of franchised products and services and their potential applications and markets.\n\t\nAttend regular meetings with Management to discuss progress to sales forecasts and activities to ensure objectives are being met.\n\t\nPresent and demonstrate to customers the benefits of products in terms of specification, quality, price, technical benefits, logistics support, timely delivery, etc.\n\t\nSuccessfully negotiating, implementing, and managing contracts & winning orders to meet the customer & company’s expectations.\n\t\nProvide detailed feedback and reports on sales activities to Line Manager.\n\t\nTimely management of any administrative duties including:\n\nPlanning & Organising work schedule and set up of appointments/visits.\n\t\t\nUpdating and maintaining database records.\n\t\t\nForecasting, monitoring, and evaluating sales figures for the region.\n\nTo ensure that all activities/tasks are carried out in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy and the Quality / ISO system.\n\nYou will have\n\nTo be successful as Technical Sales Manager Sensors, you will have a healthy mix of the following: \n\nEngineering / Electronics Degree or equivalent experience\n\t\nSupporting designs with a technical sales background of Sensors into markets such as Industrial, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Consumer, Precision Monitoring, Military.\n\t\nAbility to cross sell with similar technologies into target sensor customers, such as Communication products. \n\t\nSuccessful track record in technical sales positions\n\t\nPreferred 3 years minimum experience selling Sensor products, components and modules.\n\t\nElectronics Industry experience either with Distribution or OEM’s with good business acumen.

\n\t\nKnowledge of customer base, markets and applications\n\t\nDemonstrable experience in building strong internal and external relationships.\n\t\nComputer literate; proficient in the use of Excel, Word & PowerPoint\n\t\nSelf-motivated - enthusiasm and drive to succeed.\n\t\nGood at time management and focussing on objectives.\n\t\nAbility to work as part of a team as well as on an individual basis.\n\t\nCreative – able to think ‘outside the box’.\n\t\nGood written and verbal communication skills. \n\t\nGood presentation skills.\n\t\nValid driving licence.\n\t\nPresents themselves professionally. \n\t\nAble to travel to meet customers and suppliers\n\nYou will get\n\nAs Technical Sales Manager, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £55K-£75K + Package.\n\nPackage includes company car or £600 monthly allowance, 10-20% performance-related bonus, pension, life assurance, income protection, laptop, mobile phone.\n\nYou can apply\n\nTo Technical Sales Manager by pushing the button on this job posting (recommended), or by sending CV in confidence to (url removed)  \n\nUK_MS
