Job Summary: The Technical Sales Specialist will build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers. This role is a sales professional that works exclusively with our specialized products. This person will work on-site in our Frederick, Maryland office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain key relationships with clients, effectively communicating and persuading to generate successful sales and partnerships.
- A top priority is responding to customer communication as soon as possible
- Utilize technical expertise to be a resource for customers, offering product knowledge and support
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, both existing and new
- Manage leads and engage with customers through social media (LinkedIn/Sales Navigator)
- Work closely with Account Managers and Application Engineers to ensure successful execution of projects and customer satisfaction
- Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, and other professional personnel
- Solve problems, develop solutions and implement appropriate corrective measures for technical issues

Requirements:

Required skills and abilities:
Experience in ERP and CRM systems (Microsoft Office Dynamics 365 a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Two plus years of Sales experience is required
- Technical experience is in a previous role/technical school, manufacturing work or distribution will be considered
- Equivalent combination of education and experience in technical sales will be considered
