About the role

This position is responsible for carrying out Mogul mechanical installations, commissioning, maintenance and ongoing service and support to customers, in a timely manner, whilst promoting tna’s professional image at all times. Additionally, the role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with confectionery clients and prospective clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to targets across North America and Canada. The right candidate MUST reside in North America.


Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and present a high level and professional image of tna at all times;
  • Ensure installations are completed on time and in accordance with all specifications and documentation;
  • Carryout audits to existing equipment, perform adjustments and improvements to the line as needed and identify parts to be replaced and provide advice on potential upgrades;
  • Provide first, second and third level support, in relation to breakdowns and/or customer queries, responding by either telephone or site visits, promptly;
  • Provide training to customers and internally within tna in relation to proper operation, preventative maintenance, and fault finding of tna supplied equipment;
  • Responsible for providing routine maintenance and planned services of tna equipment in accordance with schedules;
  • Work with Project Engineers in the lead up to installation, ensuring correct layouts and documentations have been received;
  • Develop strong professional relationships with all customers and provide feedback to the Sales Team regarding prospective capital investment obtained through such relationships;
  • Provide input and feedback to the R&D Team in Sydney, relating to product modifications / faults and developments;
  • Assist mechanical engineers with R&D through product trialling;
  • Provide support and work closely with the Sales Team and Customers;
  • Collate weekly timesheet and present results to the Technical Services Manager;
  • Attend and work at trade shows / exhibitions held throughout the year (including some weekends);
  • Assist in generating new customer business and negotiated margins on sales;
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of competitors and competitor pricing;
  • Liaise with Helpdesk on workloads and manage helpdesk when scheduled;

  • Current Drivers license
  • Valid Passport and prepared to travel at short notice, locally and overseas

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Mogul lines in mechanical maintenance, field service, electro-mechanical installations.
  • Must have a deep knowledge on how to install, troubleshoot and maintain Mogul lines and associated equipment, with a focus on the mechanical part.
  • Experience with NID Mogul lines but experience with other brands such as Makat, WDS or Tanis also valued.
  • Electrical and controls knowledge and experience would be advantageous.
  • Completion of a trade and/or undergraduate degree would be advantageous.

Performance Measurements

  • Compliance to all company rules, policies, procedures, guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Customer ‘service’ satisfaction measured by:

       - timely response to requests / assistance

       - communication of progress and status

       - quality of support

       - repeat business

  • Installation and commissioning of machines within scheduled timeframes and to TNA quality standards.
  • Ensures scheduled maintenance/audit visits to customers are completed on time as per pre-set schedule.
  • Prepares all service and installation reports accurately and within 48 hours of leaving the customers’ site.
  • Maintain 100% accuracy on field spare parts inventory.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally.
