This role involves supporting both heritage and current engine types installed across the UK and ensuring smooth and efficient operation across various technical teams.\n\nHSB Technical’s client is an established and well-regarded business entity.\n\nDuties and responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer:\n\nRespond to technical inquiries from internal/external customers, operators, and other teams\n\t\nEvaluate and process concessions for engine components, ensuring compliance with specifications\n\t\nAssist with design control, modifications, and engineering changes for heritage products\n\t\n Provide support for ongoing field service activities, including troubleshooting and technical guidance\n\t\nCollaborate with the Sales and Contract teams, supplying technical data for tenders and quotations\n\t\nSupport the resolution of customer complaints related to technical issues\n\t\nAssist in maintaining company standards and ensure smooth operation within workshops and logistics\n\nQualifications and requirements for the Technical Support Engineer:\n\nEngineering Degree or HND, with extensive relevant industry experience          \n\t\nKnowledge of auxiliary equipment specification and troubleshooting      \n\t\nExperience in mechanical design and CAD (AutoCAD Mechanical/Inventor/ANVIL)          \n\t\nSolid understanding of diesel engine design, maintenance, and performance analysis          \n\t\nDesirable: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, metallurgy, and SAP\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role
