We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team! You will design and develop solutions to complex application problems or network concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation of operating systems, network systems, software, and hardware
  • Monitor system operations to detect potential problems
  • Implement network systems to support communication between all departments
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to team members
  • Provide technical assistances directly to clients.
  • Navigate Office 365 for new user creation or resolving email issues
  • Travel to client locations to troubleshoot hardware / software / networking issues.
  • "Own" the client - from the beginning of a project all the way through to completion (Project Management).
  • Proactively evaluate client's systems to ensure compliance, and performance requirements are met.
  • Must be able to accurately document problems and resolutions in our PSA / CRM tracking system.
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, and customer service are paramount to this position.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of consulting / field tested technical support experience
  • 3+ years of practical Remote Managed Monitoring experience
  • Previous experience in computer engineering, architecture, or other related fields, experience in MSP field
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 through 2022
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Administration
  • Demonstrated networking skills / knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Hosted Exchange, Hosted SharePoint Services)
  • Microsoft Teams (VOIP)
  • Microsoft Hyper-V (all versions)
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Routers/ Firewalls SonicWALL, WatchGuard, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, (QOS, VLAN, VPN)
  • Managed Services Automation — PSA,RMM
  • Must possess excellent communication, time management, and documentation skills
  • Capable of working with high-maintenance clients and meeting project deadlines
  • Ability to evaluate clients' needs and make recommendations for upgrades
  • A reliable car, a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance (proof of insurance required)
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check.
  • Provide at least 3 references, non-familial.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking, hardware, and software
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
