Job Description
AECOM is seeking a senior-level Technology & Security Consultant to be based in our Columbus, OH office.
The Technology & Security Consultant will be responsible for the following items:

As a senior consultant, has a thorough knowledge of client business practices and goals; develops and formulates solutions to client problems on assigned projects
-
Under minimal direction, creates work plans and task definitions
-
Has broad technical knowledge, possessing more than one area of specialization or focus
-
Will develop & apply existing and innovative technology in a solution-oriented framework to the benefit of our clients
-
Will work to develop relationships with new clients and guide and prepare winning proposals
-
Identify new markets and develop business in those areas
-
Identify opportunities and pursue utilizing all means of communication (phone, email, video conference and in-person)
-
Sales and Client meetings: Conduct individual and joint business development calls with clients from initial contact through contract award
-
Create capture strategy for individual client sales opportunities
-
Lead proposal team to develop effective win themes, strategies and pricing to construct winning proposals
-
Continuous follow-up and post-project development / Create reference clients
-
Attend trade shows and organizational gatherings for client development
-
Research and open new projects across global markets: Research and identify targets; build contacts, relationships and strategic alliances
-
Strategic and Business Development: Work with team leads to define sales and business objectives, create and assess strategies, develop plans, prioritize and execute business development tasks

Opportunity Management: Manage and document sales process using company defined tools and methodologies

Mentor, develop and train current staff to create a business development environment across TSG and other internal relationships

Build relationships across AECOM business lines and with other Market Leads

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
-
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university plus eight (8) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
-
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Preferred Qualifications :
-
Ten (10) years of Federal Government and five (5) years of Commercial high-level sales experience at the Director level and above
-
A security clearance is preferred but not required (potential/desire to obtain a security clearance is required)
-
Industry experience in the following technologies: Physical/Electronic security measures, investigative acumen, Command and Control Operations
-
Proven record of developing new technology clients on a global stage
-
A least ten (10) years of Federal Government and five (5) years of Commercial high-level sales experience at the Director level and above
-
Ability and experience presenting to large groups
-
Experience in A/E/C security industry
-
Active Passport or the ability to get one

Offered rate of compensation (Ohio locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000
