Telecom Engineer

Role Definition

Job responsibilities:

•    Telecom lead and responsible for Telecom deliverables in study

•    Participating in development of telecom design solutions for telecom sub systems, remote operations, maintenance, monitoring, and new technologies to required level in study.

•    Follow up telecom vendors.

•    Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, other installations, and client.

•    Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for the Telecom discipline

•    Define engineering documents. 

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Master, or Bachelor degree or relevant technical education.

•    Previous Offshore experience

•    Minimum 5 years’ experience from Telecom engineering and telecom system design activities within floaters projects

•    Experience from Telecom system design in FEED phases

Required Qualifications: 

•    Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English – Both orally and in writing

•    Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment

•    A natural team player but possess the ability to work independently.

•    Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements

•    Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.

•    Innovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions.

•    Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards.
