Job Description And ResponsibilitiesDevelop test scripts from feature abstracts, user stories, and design documentation/requirements - Create and Maintain Master Test Plan and Test Strategy documentsExecute test scripts in dry runs and formal customer test eventsSupport test scripts in internal and external customer reviewsWrite defects and perform defect verificationSupport and perform debug/triage for defects in the lab and field - Perform end to end testingProvide daily status updates, and risks/issues for test script executionProvide weekly status reports - Perform regression testing and efficient O&M defect verificationPerform Client Facing TestingCreate, maintain and execute database queries for backend data verification - Perform log reviews on UNIX and Windows serversWork closely with architects, business, and technical stakeholders to develop high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology.Instill best practices for software development and deliver high quality work on tight schedules.Monitor health of the platforms and Generate Performance Reports and Monitor and provide continuous improvements.Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards and processesCoordinate Continuous Integration activities, testing automation frameworks, and other related items in addition to contributing core product code.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications*5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.Preferred Qualifications*6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD* 6+ years of software development experience, with demonstrated expertise in leveraging development best practice methodologies and at least 2+ years’ experience in a lead role.* API automation using Apache Karate/Rest Assured or Similar* UI Automation using Selenium and BDD or similarUnix/Linux Experience- How to operate* Solid understanding of distributed system concepts, non-functional requirements like logging, monitoring, debugging, alerting, performance.* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.* Passionate about delivering zero defect code that meet or exceed the proposed defect SLA and have high sense of accountability for quality and timeliness.* Ability to deliver on multiple projects and manage priorities based on changing directions.* Excellent presentation, collaboration and communication skills required.* Experience being part of an Agile/Scrum team and following processes.Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
