Test Development Engineer

Description Design production test systems for manufacturing of laboratory and electromechanical analysis products.Responsible for the entire architecture of test systems including hardware, software and data management.Work closely with manufacturing engineers to establish test requirement and design the test system that is conducive for Agilent manufacturing ecosystem.Work with product R&D engineers (firmware/software) for Design for Testing; influence design of products to enable effective manufacturing tests.Work with external service provider in building the test system hardware.Develop test scripts/software as per test requirement and integrate the test system into shopfloor/manufacturing execution systems as needed.Build & maintain test result database and establish secure connection from test system.Perform verification and validation on test systems developed as per QMS requirement.Characterize, qualify and release test systems through statistical data analysis, GR&R. Establish and release test documentation including test description, operation manual, specification, and qualification records.Continuous improvement and maintenance of test systems, including enhancing test functions and make changes to test scripts as needed.QualificationsMinimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.Typically 8 years of working experience; at least 3 years of experience in test development in manufacturing environment of analytical and electronics/electromechanical equipment.Competent in one or more of these software - Labview, C#, C++, VB, Python, SQL, etc.Experienced in coding efficient and robust test scripts for manufacturing tests, handling of test data and features to retrieve test data effectively.Familiar with test HW and instrumentation. Strong working theories in electronics and mechanical parts will be of added advantage.Exposure to ISO 90001 and ISO 13485 environment will be of added advantage.Technically inclined with good communication and people skills - able to collaborate with cross functional team objectively, result-oriented and disciplined.Agilent Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
