Job DescriptionTest Engineering Technician - County CorkRef No: AM18304County Cork, Republic of IrelandCompetitive salary Test Engineering Technician - County Cork.KEY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION:Maintenance of test fixtures, systems and equipment on the direction of the test engineers, shift leaders and customersRESPONSIBILITIES:• Updating records of completed maintenance, software backups and ordering of spare parts• Fault-finding of test equipment• New product introduction• Working as part of a product focussed team• Training of debug technicians• Carrying out preventative maintenance on ICT/Functional Test Equipment• Completion of downtime and maintenance logs and the root cause analysis of repeat issues causing downtime.Interested applicants should have:• NFQ Level 6 Diploma Certification in Engineering or equivalent• Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar environment• Good communication and influencing skills• Ability to work under own initiative • Availability to work shift patterns• Computer literateDESIRABLE: • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office• Knowledge of high level/database programming language• Previous experience in test engineering/test debug environment
