Embark on Your TIG Welding Career!
Are you an experienced TIG Welding Technician looking to work on 2nd or 3rd shift after initial training on the 1st shift? In this critical role, you will cleverly utilize TIG welding equipment to masterfully join different metals and alloys. Partner with our dedicated engineering and fabrication teams to achieve top-quality precision welds for castings, dies, molds, fixtures, and more, perfectly aligned with weld procedures and customer needs.
Training initially takes place on 1st Shift (6am – 2pm) for 3-6 months.
Your Daily Challenges:
- Skillfully carry out TIG welding tasks on varied metals and alloys following detailed specifications and blueprints.
- Manage specialized GTAW equipment as well as essential tools like stainless steel brushes and degreasers.
- Ensure seamless equipment operation through diligent maintenance, argon purity checks, and backup creation.
- Examine weld quality rigorously to meet industry and company benchmarks.
- Resolve welding challenges swiftly to reduce production halts.
- Work harmoniously with technical experts to decipher blueprints and drawings.
- Commit to stringent safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free workspace.
- Keep thorough records of all welding operations.
Could This Be You?
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Over three years of proven TIG Welding experience; vocational training or certification enhances your candidacy.
- Expert in Tungsten Inert Gas welding methodologies.
- Experienced in manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding using remote foot control.
- Skilled in rectifying casting imperfections and refining welds.
- Competent with gauges and an expert in metals and alloys utilized in welding.
