The Enterprise Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing healthcare data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights, then presenting these findings through comprehensive reports to inform strategic Operational and Financial decision-making within Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic. Key duties include data extraction & scrubbing, data management, data analysis, report , and collaborating with various internal stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Gathering and Cleaning: Extract and compile healthcare data from diverse sources like electronic health records (EHR), billing systems, patient demographics, and claims data, ensuring data accuracy and consistency through data scrubbing/cleaning and validation processes.
- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and data analysis tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the collected healthcare data, including patient outcomes, cost analysis, utilization rates, and quality metrics.
- Operational Data Support: Create and manage the development and distribution of monthly/quarterly/annual operational and financial reporting dashboards.
- Report : Develop and deliver clear, concise, and visually appealing reports that effectively communicate key insights and findings to stakeholders, including leadership teams, clinicians, and administrators.
- Performance Metrics Tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to healthcare operations to identify areas for improvement and track progress over time.
- Patient Satisfaction Oversight: manage the oversight of adding/removing providers from the patient satisfaction platform, provide ongoing support for staff around patient satisfaction platform, and work with internal teams to manage the relationship with the Patient Satisfaction vendor.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, clinical staff, and other teams to understand business needs and align data analysis with strategic objectives.
- Ad-hoc Report : Respond to requests for reporting on specific topics or issues as needed.
- Data Development & Data Visualization: Develop analytical methodologies to support data reporting and analysis. Employ data visualization techniques to present complex data in a readily understandable format using graphs, charts, and dashboards.

GENERAL COMPENTENCIES DESIRED
Required Skills:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis software (MS Access, Power BI), and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite- including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking, ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets; Detail-oriented and experience with multi-tasking and shifting priorities quickly under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Articulate ideas and instructions in a clear and concise manner; Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology, healthcare coding systems (ICD-10, CPT), and healthcare regulations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Prioritization Skills: Actively sets priorities and makes critical decisions in a timely manner.
Skills:
- Experience at a multi-site healthcare business.
- Ability to see the big picture by thinking conceptually, imaginatively, and systematically.
- Experience managing multiple work streams end-to-end.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, stooping and stretching. Required eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Required ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
CREDENTIALS DESIRED
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, statistics, computer science or other related field. Must have related experience with healthcare data analysis, preferably in a hospital or healthcare provider setting and knowledge of healthcare industry standards and best practices.
