The Role



As a Planner, you will play a key role in delivering planning applications, strategy development, and client engagement. Working closely with senior colleagues, you will contribute to a variety of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This role offers fantastic career development, with structured training and support towards RTPI accreditation.



Key Responsibilities



Conducting site research and translating findings into clear written reports

Reviewing planning policy and history to inform project strategies

Preparing project updates and client communications with minimal supervision

Leading on minor planning applications, including liaising with design and technical teams

Monitoring applications and managing deadlines proactively

Preparing social media content and project materials for marketing purposes

Assisting with business development activities and professional networkingAbout You



A master's degree in Town Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field

At least two years of planning experience within a consultancy or local authority

Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to provide well-structured advice

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Adobe Creative Suite skills being an advantage

A proactive mindset, with a keen interest in professional development and networking

Associate membership of the RTPI, with a commitment to achieving full accreditationWhat's on Offer?



Competitive salary of £30,000 - £37,000 (DOE)
